Coaching

Coaching aims to help clients achieve specific personal or professional goals. In coaching, the coach supports the client in identifying their goals, exploring their values and motivations, developing action plans, and overcoming obstacles that may be hindering their progress.

As a dual therapist and coach, I adopt a whole-person approach to coaching, where the focus is on reaching your goals with the support of a therapeutic lens on anything getting in your way. This gives a strong psychological foundation to your coaching experience, allowing for lasting significant change.

Coaching can cover a wide range of areas including career development, leadership skills, personal growth, health and wellness, relationships, and more. The focus is on empowering you to realise you potential, make positive changes, and achieve desired outcomes.

I use various techniques and tools to facilitate the coaching process, such as active listening, powerful questioning, goal setting, accountability, and feedback. 

It's important to note how coaching differs from counselling or therapy, which typically focus on addressing past issues or traumas. Instead, coaching is forward-looking and action-oriented, helping clients to move from where they are now to where they want to be in the future.

My counselling, psychotherapy and coaching practice in based in the Southside of Glasgow. It is within easy reach of Shawlands, Pollokshields, Giffnock, Newton Mearns and the city centre.
